Clinical applications of reversing X-inactivation?

Why are they doing research on it and why is it important/applicable

Clinical applications of reversing X-inactivation?
Besides being able to understand sex-chromosome non-disjunction disorders (particularly triple-X but also the rare X tetra- and pentasomy-X), X-inactivation is involved in cancers and some other diseases.

I'm not entirely sure why you want to reverse X-inactivation clinically though. Research-wise is obvious.

See the second source I posted, it seems to cover almost everything regarding X-inactivation as of 2002.

On another note...

Wow I never realized X-inactivation was so important and cool.
